Backcountry Skiing on Mt. Shasta

Mt Shasta, California - 14,179 ft

An Icon and Mecca for backcountry snow riders; Mt. Shasta has been called “one of the top 5 ski mountaineering peaks in the world“. The backcountry skiing and riding are legendary in the Cascades and Mt. Shasta is the crown jewel. With a deep maritime snowpack and reliable California weather, this is truly an epic adventure. The vertical relief is over 7,000’ with just our own determination to get us uphill. This is backcountry skiing, split-boarding, and ski mountaineering. With skins and ski crampons on skis, each turn is earned. We offer single and multi day tours, seminars, and summit climbs and descents.
