Avalanche Courses

Shasta Mountain Guides is an AIARE (American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education) certified course provider. Our guides and instructors are qualified Course Leaders and professional members of the American Avalanche Association (AAA). Our Level I and Level II courses are held in the Mt. Shasta area and include both classroom learning and field sessions. We also offer courses to groups and private organizations, single-day trainings, avalanche awareness presentations, and rescue/beacon clinics.
