Tour Overview

This is a day ski or splitboard tour that can be suited for all levels through winter and spring. Mt. Shasta offers endless terrain for backcountry skiing near and above treeline. Conditions are optimal December – May from the trailhead at 7,000′. As locals we ski almost daily on Mt. Shasta and in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. We know where to find the best conditions and will share our experience and help you have a great day skiing in the backcountry!

These custom day tours are small group focused and can be scheduled throughout the season, please contact us for to register.

We have logged over 40 years of experience guiding on Mount Shasta and are the original guiding company for this special mountain. We know Shasta better than anyone and aim to provide a professional and positive experience for all climbers.

    • Participants should be able to ski intermediate to advanced terrain at a resort in variable conditions, otherwise Intro to BC Skiing is a better choice.

  • $495 per person

    *add 100/per person for additional skiers.

    • Professional instruction and mountain guiding with a guide-to-client ratio of 1:4

    **Ski equipment is not included but rentals are available in the town of Mt. Shasta.
