Overview
This all-inclusive adventure combines a 3-day guided backpacking trip with a structured, science-based training plan designed to fully prepare your body and mind. You’ll train in advance with the very guides who will lead your trip — building strength, mobility, and endurance through a structured fitness plan rooted in real-world demands. Then, you’ll step into the wilderness in peak condition, supported every mile by the team that’s coached you from day one. This isn’t just a backpacking trip — it’s a complete performance journey that redefines what it means to show up ready
In the weeks leading up to your trip, you’ll gain access to OAT’s Backpacker’s Bootcamp — a professionally designed 3-month training program delivered through the OAT mobile app. You’ll complete strength and stability workouts, mobility routines, and cardio efforts built specifically for long days on trail. You’ll also receive a 1:1 coaching consult, participate in group Zoom calls, and complete a virtual gear check to dial in the details. On the trip itself, expect short daily movement sessions, trail-tested fueling strategies, and conversations around recovery, performance, and sustainable plant-based nutrition.
This trip is more than a weekend in the mountains — it’s a catalyst for long-term growth. Our aim is to equip you with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to pursue backcountry adventures for years to come. You’ll leave not only with memories, but with lasting strength, practical skills, and the confidence to keep showing up — season after season.
