Climb Overview

For climbers with little or no climbing experience. All ages are welcome. Cantara Crag is a 5 minute walk from the parking area.

This small but scenic and action-packed riverside cliff has routes for everyone, with the opportunity to cool off in the adjacent swimming holes. Climbers are secured by a rope from above and have the choice between easy and more difficult climbs. Family, friends, corporate outings, and canine companions are welcome to join as spectators.

On this climb, we aim to create personal connections to the surrounding land and lasting connections to your new climbing community.

We have logged over 40 years of experience guiding on Mount Shasta and are the original guiding company for this special mountain. We know Shasta better than anyone and aim to provide a professional and positive experience for all climbers.
