Welcome to Shasta Mountain Guides, since 1982 leading the highest quality adventures on California's most spectacular peak.  We are mountain professionals committed to your safety and enjoyment.

     We invite you to join us for a summit climb, glacier seminar, or a ski or snowboard descent. You will be rewarded with the trip of a lifetime! Shasta is located in the very north of California, a strato-volcano in the Cascade Range, and considered by many the perfect peak for new and experienced mountaineers.

     We have updated our 2009 schedule and are accepting reservations for the new climbing season.  Winter is here and the mountain has received several storms to give us excellent backcountry ski conditions.  With all the snow we have received  in North America now is the time to get serious about your avalanche awareness.  We are hosting AIARE Level I and II courses this season.  Please call or email with any questions at all.
