The mountain continues to hold excellent climbing conditions; especially on the North side glacier routes. We have just a few weeks remaining for climbs and seminars for the 2011 season.
Climbs on the North side Hotlum-Bolam route are in prime condition. We have trips scheduled through September 5th (Labor Day weekend).

The Hotlum-Bolam Ridge is in great shape, awesome summits the last several weeks!

Summit team on the Hotlum-Bolam route
We have just a few departures remaining for the 2011 season. Our 3 day NE side climb on 8/19-21 and September 3-5. We have a 4 day Glacier I Seminar September 2-5 and 5 day Glacier III August 24-28.
Of course, we can create a custom trip and itinerary for you as well. Take advantage of the ideal conditions on the glaciers this year!

i would love to be able to climb in the month of october. is this possible?
i climbed mount hood in july and mount adams last week. i’m trying to prepare for my trip to nepal so a summit of 14k would help me evaluate things. when is the last possible date to do adams?
thank you, sincerely,
gary camp
Hi Gary,
The months of October and November are generally not ideal for a summit attempt. Short, cold days; unpredictable weather (2+ feet of new snow last week!), and poor conditions on most routes are what to expect in the late autumn. For these reasons, I can’t really encourage a summit climb at this time. Please let us know if you would like to discuss this further.
Good luck in Nepal!
thats great.
i want to climb on ice freezing mountain top.
its hard for us (climbing in tropical country like philippines) to climb mountain with snow because of temperature.
What time of year do you guys generally start summit trips again? What size are the parties you take?
Hi Jack, we have scheduled climbs April-September. See the new blog post for additional details. We lead groups from 1 to 8 climbers. Please let us know if you have any additional questions at all. We hope you can join us for a climb! -Chris
Thanks Chris. I’m getting my group together now!
